Pathanamthitta emerged as the top performing revenue district with a stellar pass percentage of 99.72 percent while Kollam district recorded the highest number of individual A+ scorers. Kuttanad distinguished itself as the top performing education district achieving a perfect 100 percent eligibility rate for higher studies.
30,514 students secured an A+ in all subjects. Girls led this category with 20,771 female students achieving full A+ grades compared to 9,743 boys.
Among girls 2,01,982 students qualified for higher education out of 2,03,563 who appeared recording a pass percentage of 99.22. Among boys 2,08,474 qualified out of 2,10,727 who appeared registering 98.93 percent.

Students who obtain D+ grade or above in all subjects are declared Eligible for Higher Studies — EHS. Students who secure D grade or below in any subject are classified as Not Eligible for Higher Studies — NHS.
A minimum of 30% in the Terminal Evaluation written exam is required for D+ grade. Even if a student scores well in Continuous Evaluation internal marks they cannot pass without meeting the minimum requirement in the written exam.
Kerala SSLC Result 2026 — Total Marks Structure
The total score for Kerala SSLC exam is 650. Total marks for First Language Paper 1 and Paper 2 is 50 each. English is for 100 marks. IT exam is for 50 marks. Social Science and Mathematics are for 100 marks each. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are for 50 marks each.
Not Satisfied With Marks — Re-evaluation Process
Kerala SSLC 2026 revaluation process has started online through the official portal of Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan at sslcexam.kerala.gov.in.
Candidates can apply for re-evaluation paying Rs 400 per subject, Rs 200 per subject for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheet and Rs 50 per subject for scrutiny. These fees are fixed by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan and are paid online during application.
Applications must be submitted through school — the board does not accept direct applications from students.
Failed in SSLC 2026 — SAY Exam Details
For students who do not clear the examination supplementary exams — Save A Year or SAY exams — are scheduled to be conducted in June 2026.
SAY exam gives students a second chance to clear failed subjects without losing the academic year. Official notification will be released on sslcexam.kerala.gov.in.

After the declaration of SSLC results students will move into a critical decision making phase regarding their academic future. The immediate next step is applying for Plus One Class 11 admissions where students must choose their preferred stream — Science for careers in engineering, medicine and technical fields, Commerce for business, finance and management, Humanities for social sciences, law, civil services and media.
